  230.         <text><span class="style1">                  </span><span class="style3">        </span><span class="style10">[Click anywhere to hide]   </span><span class="style3">               </span><span class="style4">ART REGISTRY USE INSTRUCTIONS</span><span class="style3">The </span><span class="style2">Art Registry</span><span class="style3"> is quite straightforward in concept and operation.  Its fields are repositories for data and information about your art treasures.  Here are some notes about using it.1.  Unlock the fields [click on the </span><span class="style2">key icon</span><span class="style3"> [first one on the left in the upper right corner] to start entering data.  You may tab the fields in sequence, starting with the ID# field [upper center]. 2.  </span><span class="style2">Lock/Unlock Fields</span><span class="style3">:  When the hilite of the key icon is false [black key on a white background], data fields are locked and cannot be written in.  Click the icon to unlock data fields.  Data fields are automatically locked when you quit the stack.3.  </span><span class="style2">ID#</span><span class="style3">:  This field is for the identifier for the piece of art being recorded.  I use a simple alpha-numeric system, for example P for Paintings followed by the accession number of the piece [P-1, P-2, P-3, etc.]4.  </span><span class="style2">Stacks Index</span><span class="style3">:  The line of buttons directly below the title bar enumerate the other art register stacks by name.  Clicking on one will take you to that stack.  You can add or change any of the destinations by renaming the buttons, but be sure you the name you enter in the button dialog box is the same as the stack name.  The button for the open stack [whichever one you‚Äôre in] is highlighted.5.  </span><span class="style2">Cost Data</span><span class="style3">:  After entering appropriate data in the base cost, premium, tax, and shipping-handling fields, click on the </span><span class="style2">TOTAL</span><span class="style3"> button for calculation.6.  </span><span class="style2">Signed:Yes/No</span><span class="style3">:  If the piece of art being recorded has a signature or mark you‚Äôd like to have recorded, click on the </span><span class="style2">YES</span><span class="style3"> button at the lower left corner.  This will place a check mark in the Yes field and show a </span><span class="style2">SEE</span><span class="style3"> button [hiding the No button and field] which, when clicked, will bring up a card picture in which you can replicate the signature or mark.  The </span><span class="style2">RETURN</span><span class="style3"> button will hide the picture again.  Clicking the </span><span class="style2">NO</span><span class="style3"> button puts a check mark in the No field and opaques the Yes button and field.7.  </span><span class="style2">Card Picture Template</span><span class="style3">:  The second background in this stack contains one card on which is the template for the card picture used in replicating art signatures or marks. </span><span class="style2"> DO NOT ALTER THIS CARD IN ANY WAY, SINCE IT IS USED TO CREATE THE CARD PICTURE AND RETURN BUTTON ON EVERY NEW CARD IN THE DATA RECORD PART OF THE STACK.  </span><span class="style3">For any other information about the structure and operation of the stack, feel free to open any scripts to follow the logic or to adapt to your particular needs.Enjoy!James R. NewtonRojin Enterprises                     </span><span class="style2">[Click anywhere to hide]</span><span class="style3"></span></text>
